New Detector to Challenge the Nokta Simplex

Do you want a detector to find Diamonds, Gemstones, Gold, Platinum and more? :tchest:

Check out the Cobra GX 8000.

To optimize this detector, especially for finding diamonds, use the "bionic setting"
and make sure the depth setting is no more than 40 meters. Also, make sure your search antennas are properly calibrated using an antenna analyzer.
Make sure antennas have VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) of less than 1.5.1.

Okay.....I can't stop laughing. Really!

Wow, it takes 2 hours to locate a bottlecap. I want one!!!!! Quite honestly if they had a few blond German babes in the video/ad they could easily sell this contraption as some weird kinky electrosex machine. You must do as I say HAHAHAHA

I can do the same thing with a just few drinks at a Hamptons bar. No need to dig deep at all.

Minelab xterra, Whites DFX, Notka Makro Simplex. Folks the price don’t mean everything, the question is are you willing to put in the time to learn the machine, experience will pay off I guarantee it.

Hello 49er12,

I have over 300 hours on the Simplex and know it very well. An excellent machine for $ 300 dollars/wireless. I bought the pulsedive pin pointer and waterproof headphones. The pin pointer is very good and the sound is clear through the wireless headphones. I do believe that two software changes would absolutely kill the competition. (1) Have the activation for the pin point function ON/OFF, like Minelab. The pin point hold button is tough to hold down while checking the target from different angles. (2) Give the operator a choice of tones for each mode (either fixed or selectable tone breaks). My thought would give the operator the ability to select 2, 3, 4, 5 or continuous, say 20. Being a tone hunter (spoiled by Minelab's musical tones) this would make all the difference in the world and greatly increase their mid-level detector sales. As a side note, I've been detecting with the NOX and Simplex and find the Simplex gives the NOX a run for its money. I'm not saying a $ 300 dollar machine is equal to an $ 800 dollar machine, but most of the signals checked by the two machines were dug with very good depth and signal agreement. Now, if they would give up the two updates above...watch out other companies!

Regards,

Doc
