Good morning fella's. It cannot be just me, but has there not been a HUGH influx of pop-up adds on T-Net? On purpose for income for T-Net, which O.K., I understand that, or...…...have we been INVADED.

A2, perhaps it IS just me, it's on my lap top, and only on T-Net. Hmmm....well, one must carry on..

Ive seen some recnt posts about that and some one suggested add blocker which Ive never used but they said it worked

What Browser are you using, a recent Google Chrome update has caused an issue with ads. I don't get ads with my laptop but it uses Windows 10 and Firefox, neither get the ads. I don't get them on my phone either.

You will get lots if ads if you don't log in.

I haven't noticed anything different on pop-up ads on my T-net. I use Windows 10 with ancient Internet Explorer. No differences that I see.

Well, everytime I go on T-Net, I'm logged in. I'm on windows 10, browser? I don't know, I'll call myself somewhat "Tech challenged", I have a rather old Dell laptop, but it suits me fine. No big deal, it IS just me. It's OK though, I often tell my wife it's not easy being me. Just one more little issue for me to deal with, I have many IF you were to ask my wife I'd bet, nonetheless, I can do a reply though and make comments, so I'm good.

You can use an ad blocker like AdBlock plus, it is free.

Here I use windows 10 google chrome and a free ad blocker. I have never seen an ad on this site but the notation thing at the top of my pc said 7 ad's were blocked on this page.

Where do I find Ad Blocker, not on the T-Net site itself I'm sure, so perhaps on the Home Page somewhere when I fire this puppy up? I'm going to ask around, I really was not aware of it. It is like "ticndig" his add blocker notation thing said SEVEN ad's blocked on this page. That is what I've encountered here only in the last month I think. Thanks fella's.

type ad block plus in the search bar and many will come up. some are free some ask for a donation and some charge . easy to download and blocks ad's on all the net not just here.

Here's a link. You just have to know what browser you are using. You can tell that by looking at the connection you use to get on the internet. Most likely it will be Internet Explorer.

I was also being invaded by adds, until I read this thread and followed the link by fyrffytr1. I just installed it right now, and the adds stopped instantly, (and I am far from a techie). The only thing different, is that I use Chrome to get on the internet. Thank you fyrffytr1 for the link. I can read posts again, without my computer screen jumping all over with useless adds I don't care to read.
