My older sister & I had a UFO experience in 1966. We talk about it to this day. A brightly (extremely) lit hat shaped craft about as big as a Volkswagen flew (swooped) right in front of the car. My sis was only 16 & had been driving for just a short while. Scared us both. Flew from north to south at great speed and quickly and brightly flew out of sight. I have to this day no clue what it could have been or where it may have came from. That's my story.

Florida had many UFO sightings in the late 1960's and early 1970's. Yes, I and my wife have have observed a few.
The most outstanding was during the summer returning from Juniper Springs on SR40 in the Ocala National Forest, when just above the tree line was an oval shape that shimmered like liquid mercury and was soundless.

That area is still pretty much "the sticks" . I bet it was really wild back then.

There also several sightings during that time in Silver Glen Springs and between Williston and Perry, also and in parts still "the sticks".

there are posts in

Everything Else

some post in

Psychics/Mediums/Paranormal, ,
however since I Consider the Paranormal more about Ghosts which would have no Solid Form. & Imaginary.

and Ufo's as possibly of Solid Construction, whether earthly, or alien & real or Misidentified rather then Imaginary.
I use Everything Else for UFO discussions

If you get the chance, read Bob Lazar's book, Dreamland: An Autobiography, Dreamland by Bob Lazar. It is a very good read, by someone who claims to have worked at Area 51.
