I respect the local, state and federal police. Only stupid people want to defunded police.

I detect hazardous places as it is, I speak softly and carry a big stick in all circumstances.
If it came down to anarchy I don't think detecting would be a high priority anyhow, but wildly rhetorical questions are really not possible to answer.

Funny though, if you look at appropriate maps old and new (in WA for instance) it would seem all the spots where historically gold has been found are now either state or federal land.
