I just saw this post again and noticed the cross in the fifth row, do you know anything about the age/make of that? Silver?

I don't know anything about the cross. It's in brass and looks quite old. I'd guess 18th or 19th century. But its a guess.

Neat. It's a cool find, reminded me of some of the things our friends in Canada find at some of those old French fur-trade sites.

Well, it's not far off that beaten track. Lots of F & I activity not far away from there.
