this is my latest one,the off set wieght works great,just added the springs on the legs.can can make anything like this with pvc,easy to work with and cheap.i use the legs with the springs when iam classifying dirt.

i started doing it my hand, that got old and i had this little motor ,i now have a guard on it because it will hurt you.

I have two that I use. One is made from 2x4 and hardware screen with a hinged third leg that folds so I can shake it vigorously or leave it stationary when the leg is straight. A smaller sifter I made from a plastic milk crate lined with 1/4 inch hardware screen. I use it for smaller digs and when water screening.
