Blak bart adventure art !! 20200906_200804.jpg
The driftwood was collected in the mangroves, along with the rope net and bouys. The top port hole was dove up from a 1950s fishing boat wreck in spanish wells bahamas. The middle port hole was found after hurricane irma in islamorada, in knee deep water. The bottom porthole i dove up in keywest harbor. I filled old nail holes in the wood with old copper square nails I metal detected. I would like to finish this piece with mirrors in each porthole.....its ment for people to interact with and decorate with there own beachcombed items.

Nice work Bart , my mom and dad loved stuff like that , their Florida room was decorated in a nautical theme and lots of art from cedar key.
I wouldn't want to get that big hook in my foot.

I'm honored to be amongst so many talented people! I make all kinds of things. Art to some! I have made knives from scratch, customized factory knives, repaired many old collectibles. I make large projects too. My avatar was built from scratch by me. Have a few more of those type projects waiting in the grass. And while helping my buddy build his house I managed to build a sawmill in which all his trim work was milled and put thru a kiln that I also built after the sawmill. I stay busy...if I don't, I die.
Here's a few of my knives:

That is incredible !!

Thanks man, I like to think if I can imagine it then I can make it but its not too hard to run into limitations on the software side, thats where the real learning curve is.

Some very nice stuff posted here, maybe metal detecting gives a jump on creativity, or something. I think its an above average cross section of creativity and talent than for most any given hobby, but who knows.
Doesn't really matter, most of us hustle up some $$ making things but are not looking to hit the jackpot, creative people have to scratch that itch by being creative.

Wow rusty !! I've got alot to learn....that looks way more complicated than a telecaster !!

Thanks for the kind words Bart but that Tele I'm envious of. Just Beautiful! The Mahogany combined with the Tamarind would be an awesome Lap Steel Guitar.

Here is a copy of a poem I wrote many years ago... I was trying to outdo Dylan Thomas' poem rhyme scheme in his poem "Fern Hill"...I think I did a pretty good job at it but I will let the readers decide...

End of Poem The 6th syllable of the P.s. rhymes with 6th in title
~
P.S. I am just a simple man who wrote a gem.
P.P.S. The final part to the poem is to reverse the poem by reading
the 2nd stanza 1st and the 1st stanza last. I hope you all like it...
