just saw this , was posted Yesterday No Idea if it's accurate

LIVE briefing on potentially HISTORIC SNOW STORM Denver to Cheyenne on Tuesday!

LIVE briefing on the early season snow storm forecast to hammer the CO/WY Foothills and possibly even the I25 corridor on Tuesday. The 00z GFS model came in hot last night with a strong upper-level storm system and earlier/farther west closing off of the vorticity maximum as compared to the Euro. This scenario would lead to a longer period of positive vorticity advection at 500 mb across CO/WY and especially greater upslope flow with stronger lee cyclogenesis to the south in eastern NM. Confidence is increasing in a historic snow storm including Denver. Stay tuned!

80 today here in Minnesota but we are dropping down to highs in mid fifties and lows down to 41 for the rest of the week from this system. Turn off air conditioning, turn on the heat.

Mid 90's and humid here. Be so glad for fall weather. Looks like a heck of a storm.

Not what we're hearing here in the mountains. Cold front coming in Monday afternoon, maybe 2.5 inches, then gone and fair weather after. As far as Denver, fine with me if it snows *ss deep to a tall giraffe over there. It shuts that whole town down if they get 5 inches. We can use any moisture we get though.

I will keep an eye out for the 'positive vorticity advection' and try to get us a pic of it.

don't get ME Wrong ! I prefer Heat To Cold.

I can step into AC Or in Front of a Fan & Instantly Cool Down.

I remember being Soo Cold that I Walked into My House, The Coal stove was almost Red Hot.
And I Pressed up against it for 5 to 10 Minutes Before my Shivers stopped.

I've sat Too Close to My Propane Heaters & Kerosene Heaters also to Slowly Warm up & Stop Convulsive Shivers. .
I've also Burnt my Legs on Infrared Heaters sitting at My Feet to try & warm up mornings over the Winters at my Home.
Which was Not Insulated at all.

with a Bad Heart walking in he Cold Gives me Chest Pains
& Breathing Cold air Is uncomfortable also.

Cool Air is Better for detecting & Better on the heating bill though :coffee2:

We do just fine with 5" of snow here, it's the idiots driving on the ice that's the issue. 4 wheel drive doesn't mean 4 wheel stop. And most of them head up to your Summit County to jam the roads anyway.
