Metal detecting beginner
I want to get into general metal detecting. Regular ground and saltwater. This will be a hobby. I am willing to spend up to $300 for a bundle. Is there a certain brand or something I need to look for in particular? I would appreciate any help I could get.

The Vanquish would certainly meet your needs. The Nokta Makro Simplex is also another possibility. Whatever you decide, happy hunting!

A bundle can be found thru several sources, and you should get an individual offering a used detector, here in this forum, I'm sure,
but (Suggestion) watch videos and learn what these machines can do - so, get a near, middle-of-line machine that does a lot for you - giving you the chance to tweak the settings some, and get more performance out of it...!
You will find this to be a VERY Addictive Hobby, so watch out, "you'll never be the same"....!
Good Luck and Happy Hunting...!
Stick With It - It's not *IF* you'll find the good stuff , but WHEN!
