I called nonsense and he goes on saying he heard something and there were tons of squirrels around and then he saw "bigfoot" and took off on his dirtbike. I was picking on him about it and decided to go with him to where he saw whatever he saw. He's on his dirtbike and I'm on my bike and he stops and points to where he saw it. I get off my bike and wander over to where he said he saw it and I see some footprints and see a bunch of squirrels all over and I'm thinking he might be serious. I had a very weird feeling come over me and look in the distance and saw something big, tall, and brown. I ran out of the woods and we both hightailed it down the hill. No doubt I saw something but have no clue what it was but it definitely wasn't a bear.
Goosebumps from even typing this that was one weird day and I never picked on him for saying he saw "bigfoot" again
So, what’s the significance of all the squirrels, if any?

We were looking for a piece of property in 2013, bush crashing around looking at the hilly acreage. I loaded up the photos and saw this black thing in one photo-enlarged it and I can see what looks like a hairy something caring a small one.
Now many time the eyes/brain will see figures in stone, clouds, wood, and this very well be that also. Though the whitish outline on the head sure looks like a primate.
I've wanted to go back and see if I could find it again, near a deep water filled quartz quarry that sits on the property.

When I'm Detecting, and I'm in my Zone, I Don't look for Distractions.

I Had a Family of deer once sharing my Spot. mother and if I remember right 3 Fawns .
Didn't notice them till I took a Break, Removed my Headphones and caught them out the corner of my Eye.
and they were maybe 20 steps from me tops.

Half-century ago, my wife and I were in a small wilderness area in No. Calif, USA, and saw one HUGE print, and it wasn't a bear...!
Just entering a swampy section, too. - we didn't follow, scared, we were...!
