Depends on context.
A bounty of a mast crop perhaps.
Mast =food. Squirrels tend to squabble if food is limited , usually only tolerating others close if there is a lot of food.
A low spot can hold more acorns for example than higher areas. Or an individual tree producing well vs others in the area.
Or a tree of another specie producing something. Or even a food unrelated to a tree.

I was thinking of a few of those facts too. You must be a squirrel hunter, as is I.

So, does that mean Sasquatch was there for the mast?

I found many quite large overturned stones on the plateau of a boer war site... and was becoming increasingly concerned / intrigued. Some time later after the winter I saw baboon prints in the clay. So obviously turning over the stones while foraging for grubs etc.
Also see and hear them 'barking' as Im hiking through.

Absolutely do not believe in Bigfoot. People mistake bears for something else. If you look into a bear's eyes they have a humanoid look about them. And a bear's footprint is a bit similar to a human's.

Yes, a bear has big feet, but, unlike a humanoid footprint, they have
claws.

I live in the middle of prime Bigfoot country (just Google "Bigfoot, North Cascades").
Over the past 30 years I've hunted, trapped and fished all over this area, and
have yet to find a Bigfoot or any sign thereof.

I've happened across some very odd things going on in the woods. A cow moose
where you would never expect to see one, elk humping, bears humping...and
even people......well, you get the drift. I've looked in the sky, far from any dwelling
or town, and saw strange lights, meteors, satellites..even the ISS..

..but never a Bigfoot nor any of it's relatives.

Maybe someday...

You are looking at Grizzly footprints. Blackbear footprints do not show claws.

My Uncle was half owner in a logging outfit. He lived in Hayfork, CA., the Trinity Alps area. He told us one morning, he went to a job site and found a 500 gallon diesel tank carried and thrown down into a ravine. He said there were numerous huge foot prints all over the landing area. He was a believer.

I suspect there are "relatives" scattered all over the globe, if one had the yearning to look into the subject.
The creature is quite adaptable to its surroundings, whatever the latitude and hemisphere it lives in..!

Going on 50yrs ago a family of pretty rough going moved in down the way.
Tough as nails, scrapped like dogs, amongst each other.
The old man took a liking to the family and gave us a copy of a photo dated 190X.
There was 3 hunters standing in front of this hairy beast.
Even though it was B&W photo it still showed the blood stains where it was laying in the snow.
Asked kind of around way if it was kin?
No the guy replied. I was the janitor at the city hall. In my spare time I would look through the old file cabinets in the basement and I found it there.
I looked for the photo a decade ago during the clean up of the family home-but it was gone, like so much other things.

Since when? This is the back foot of a black bear.

Black-Bear-Hind-Paw-Print_Bryant-Baker.jpg

Also, the back foot of a black bear is not anywhere close to
the size of the as-yet-unseen-by-me Bigfoot foot.
