Can anyone tell me their opinion of the bounty hunter fortune hunter detector? Dealer here in town has marked the detector down to $99 bucks!!

My hunting Buddy bought a new Bounty hunter and the first time out after 45mins or so all of the icons where flashing on the screen -n- all the bell -n- whistles where going off all at wont's.AND IT WAS DEAD! my bouther has a 34 year old whites beach comer TR-S and I have a whites prizm2 and we never had a problem( I would go with Whites).......Mags

I just got a bounty hunter last month from a Fast Cash store for only $100.00.It came with Batteries but soon found out they were dead and put new ones in.I'm new at detecting but so far I'm learning more about it.I did all the metal test they have in the book,and that helped me to ID some finds.I've been looking in school yards and parks and tried the different modes to locate money.The (DIS) mode so far has worked pretty good.I'm happy with it so far,and for my first detector I'll keep using it.
