I'm way north of you (bruce wi) but, i'm in az right now and won't start back till the end of the week.... then i watch the weather and don't show up till the frost is gone.. it's 9:30 am here and 85 degrees (no frost) in the ground, only hard clay & rocks. i did manage to find some GOLD, old army spurs,some left over gen patton ammunition , etc. Never once did my hands get cold.................not like wi where you could still be digging in the frost in july. have a great day , george
