Older pocket change?

Mr.Pepper, and ,I have noticed over the past month we are having older coins in our pocket change. Just today he, and I ,both had two Canadian pennies in our pocket change.

We are also seeing more early 60's and 50 coins. What I think is happening is: gas, food, etc...is so expensive that folks are cashing in change to make ends meet.
Thought I would post this because you might wish to keep a closer eye on your change. Is anyone else noticing this? I haven't seen a Canadian coin in my change in years. Just thought I would pass this alone

Might be a good time to start coin-roll hunting . I hardly ever look at the change in my pocket .
I have a gold-fish bowl I empty my pockets in . When the bowl gets about full I check out the coins
before cashing them in . It usually takes quite a while to get a bowl full . I'll have to keep an eye out
& see if I notice older coins turning up in pocket change .

in the early 80's? when gas went to a buck a gallon i would run my father-in-law's garage till close.3 to9 after my real job. any how, people would bring in silver and what ever for gas. swap them babies for clad! i got a gold wedding band for fixing a tire (refused/on me) a tackle box and lures for something(kept that) and i don't know what else.

Got a 55' Nickle the other day. Strange. Use to run across 64's all the time.

It will be interesting to see if the gas crunch brings out the silver and older coins. If anyone, myself included, is given old change at stores I hope you post if you notice it.
