rattlesnakes, beer caps, lantern parts, few bones and something with fur and corn in it. hope those two were related some how. oh ya and some nasty old turquoise.

Yes--a Large cave where they had CW-era dances each weekend. There were lots of old coins in the sandy soil--and many of the copper coins were in great shape--just dark.

Caves were always places to explore in an area--and most saw some sort of human presence, if for no other reason than curiosity. There are letters from CW troops about their explorations of geographic features in the area of their winter camp--and they mention high hills, sinkholes, and going through caves.

So in my book, caves are always good places to check out...just make sure you don't get lost in one!
