Detected a different target today!

So i got my first detector, an X terra 70 last wednesday and have been hitting my local park so far.
When i was detecting a nice sounding target today i got confused. The coil seemed to get "stuck" all the time. I was looking for a small twig or something but thera wasnt any. Then it hit me! The target is a magnet!. I did not dig it up though since it showed to be deep but it must be a real chunk.
Anyone else with the same experience?

Don't know what would have caused it,
But Definately not a Magnet
no matter how strong.
your Coil isn't made of Iron.

Dig it up.

Very strange then? The coil was really pulled down on that spot. The X terra showed a steady 36 and showed all the arrows meaning DEAP. I Really want to dig it up but if it really is that deap i dont want to make a huge hole in the park. Ok next time i will at least have a scratch at the place and see if anything turnes up.
Maby it was a huge silver treasure that really pulled the coil closer, wanting me to find it

LOL Maybe your detector is working like a Long Range Locator

You say it actually Pulled Down ?

The park I'v been doing lately has an area where the Ground cover
is some type of Leaf Plant that has a rubbery Texture.
Even though it is Cut short when I try to scrub it dosn't.
it Sticks like Rubbing ruff rubber against ruff Rubber.

I was Thinking maybe the same Problem.

Yes digging deep in some areas turns me away too.

But as I said one thing for sure,
it's not Magnetic.

But considering how Dowsing Works
I wouldn't rule out that you have
The dowsing Ability & it is working
in Conjunction with your Detector.
