The key "ring" is just the ring - any pendants hanging off of it would be a "fob" ... the part you grab to retrieve from the pocket. The watches had watch chains, and at the end of the chain was the watch "fob" that hung out to grad to retrieve the watch from the pocket. I know it's already been said, but I wanted to post too... so I repeated everything.
