hello all im new to this site aswell the hardest thing for me is to keep motivated cause all i find is trash on the beach
.
and we have no real historical areas besid's the beach thats not a state park lol.

Have you tried the settings I have given in the post above yours ? If so, you'll probably need to turn the sensativity down till it no longer falses. Salt water beaches require special, more expensive machines. You also need to be a little familiar with the beaches to know where the majority of the people hang out. You might be better off just strting in some smaller community parks or at schools. using the settings I already gave in the post above yours.

thanks for the info ive been using mine set on all metal with the sens at the 3 position and the disc at the 12 but i will give it a try.
hopefully i can get out to some parks tomorow.

Hi there. If you're still struggling with the beeps, try to bury a few coins and some nails, etc. somewhere in your yard, and mark them somehow. Bury a few, some flat, some on their sides, and at different depths. Practice with those. Get used to the different tones, settings, and volumes. Sounds like your doing a great job. Keep it up. :0)
