Have you tried the settings I have given in the post above yours ? If so, you'll probably need to turn the sensativity down till it no longer falses. Salt water beaches require special, more expensive machines. You also need to be a little familiar with the beaches to know where the majority of the people hang out. You might be better off just strting in some smaller community parks or at schools. using the settings I already gave in the post above yours.

Best thing to do... is just get out there when ever you can.... and learn your machine....or just get out you pocket change... and practice with that!! Good LucK

Hi there. If you're still struggling with the beeps, try to bury a few coins and some nails, etc. somewhere in your yard, and mark them somehow. Bury a few, some flat, some on their sides, and at different depths. Practice with those. Get used to the different tones, settings, and volumes. Sounds like your doing a great job. Keep it up. :0)

    Have fun! Dig cool stuff.

Remember to fill your holes! Very important to leave little or no trace when you leave.

Find silver coins and other cool old stuff!

    Best of Luck,
