I don't know what type of rock is but in the picture with the tennis ball, you see an older rock (fractured), with fractures filled by the percolation fluids that re-cristallize and give you a "new" rock.
Probably quartz deposition (location near ore deposits ?) or calcite.
The calcite makes bubbles if you put some drop of HCL on it, quartz not.
