If you can post photos of multiple sides of each item it will help with identification.

Not saying I see artifacts there, but I would like to see more detail.

Both materials are very common lithics for Projectile Points in your region.

Thanks all. Maybe my imagination gets the better of me at times.

All the specimens I’ve posted in this post and all my other post in this forum have come from the same location - An area of approximately 2 acres that has been alternately pasture and planted over the years. Although scattered over the area all have been surface collected and come from the landscapes highest point. The nearest running water is approximately 1/2 mile away and none of the lithics appear indigenous to what’s in the creek today as far as rock type.

The Iithics shown are of the same type as the majority of finished points, etc. found leading to my conclusion that these were preforms yet to be finished or - if just rocks, not started.

Just based on the number of flakes on the ground and also on the number of different types of points found, in addition to other artifacts the location seems to have been used over a considerable amount of time

Certainly a possibility that these rocks were brought to your location to be reduced to something useful since they both are shaped in such a way that it wouldn’t take much to make each into a tool or point, but as they are now they aren’t there yet. Do some research as to what rocks look like once the hand of man has manipulated them. Keep looking and thanks for posting
