hi all..

can any of you tell me the easiest cheapest way to map bedrock or determine the depth, without digging to it.

is it possible to determine a false bedrock layer such as a clay layer and or gravel layers between a clay layer and bedrock?

maximum depth would be in the 10 to 50 foot deep range, and i would need something that any dummy can run and interpret.

thanks very much!

:)? ;)
SURE!
Go to your Mining or Natural Resources Dept. and get a Geological Survey Map of the area you are interested in!
It shows all of that good stuff!
And! It is cheap!
Just the price of the map!
