I need to know my alternatives to locate a target.

The target is located in a salty marsh area and not only does the ground contain a lot of salt, but also has a layer of clay. Also, the target is deep, and the soil contains a lot of brown hematite and some iron slag rocks.

Therefore, I believe that GPR is not the way to go.

The target is about 4 feet cubed, is composed of iron/steel, and lays on top of bedrock 24 feet below the surface.

The search area is about 1000ft X 200ft.

Do you have any economical suggestions as to the method I can use to find my target?
