Wesmar scanning sonar for sale

I have a Wesmar 150 scanning sonar for sale. This set uses an 8-inch dome and is a very reliable unit. The max range is 1600 ft. It is in excellent condition, all the controls work great. I have it rigged to hang off the back of the boat. If you are a wreck-hunter on a budget, this is what you want. Scanning sonars have their limitations, such as limited performance in thermoclines, poor resolution, and no fancy printouts, but they are proven wreck-finders. Most of the located wrecks you all dive on were found using this type of sonar. I had the power supply replaced a few years ago, and at that time all parts for the 150?s were still available. The reception on this sonar is through a CRT screen, plus a speaker (hear the sound of the echo?s). It comes with a voltage converter also (12 to 24 VDC) so you can use regular 12-volt power.
