    GEM-2 Data Analysis

I have a project for which we used a GEM-2 to gather data. The data is saved in .CSV format. We used the Surfer 8 program to render and do an analysis.

Unfortunately, we are not geophysical engineers and our analysis is a bit of guess work. We're looking for someone who can do an expert analysis and answer questions based on the data.

Please let me know if you know of someone that can help, or if you yourself can help. We are willing to pay a fee.

    Re: GEM-2 Data Analysis

I have used three generations of the Geophex GEM-2 extensively. I have also used the GSSI rebranded version, the GEM-300. What are you trying to find with the unit? For accurate interpretation, you must correct for the instrument drift, which must be done during the data collection. There was a paper presented at SAGEEP in 2006 I think by Jared Abraham which covered the subject well. Contact me and I can send you a PDF.
