North Georgia Gold

This year will be another dry summer for us in north georgia.With the rivers running low it makes dredging those deeper holes a little easier.The hot weather is always a good reason to prospect along a river or creek.The water in them there mountain streams sure do feel good. :P

I have been finding some good color in the small creeks.Its about time for me to start dredging in the river and get those nice north Georgia nuggetts.The heat is here,that always gets my dredging fever going.In the last ten years every summer i tend to find nice nuggetts.The gold that has been found by me,is do in part to the weekendgoldminers.The club is the only public chance of finding gold without cleaning your wallet out.There are other places to prospect and camp but at 20 to 40 dollars a day.For 20 dollars a month membership fee you can camp and find great gold on the club properties.Some of my gold nuggetts can be seen in the photo album on the weekendgoldminers web page under bo1377.Hope to see ya in dem der hills soon.
