georgia coin hunting
Has anyone found anything but pennies in south ga. I have been hunting this area since 1972. Silver is hard to find . I have found only 12 silver coins this year.

Re: georgia coin hunting
30 sumthin years ago a couple of us with Bounty Hunter Red Barons worked an OLD park in "downtown" Macon...half dimes/2 cent pieces/large cents & barbers abounded.
Is there still an old public park there?

there are still many small parks in downtown Macon. The large park is Central city park. Is this the one you are referring to? IF so, It is still there.

Re: georgia coin hunting
Fishy49...That is probably it...It was large enough that we never interfered with one another. Only worked it that once, but dug some serious keepers outta there. Sold one coin for $80+...Hog Heaven back then!
Thanx for the reply & info....
