Shays settlement ..any interest ? Vt

I used to live in a town called sandgate Vt. I did some research up tyhere and found there was a seetlement with around 20 houses and a town green .It was settled by Danial Shay and his followers after his failed attempt Shays rebellian 1786-1787 ,the seetlement is abanded following an epidemic in the late 1700s .
Anyone feel like helping in the reseach and maybe a weekend hunt sometime in the spring .
I do know there are still visable signs of the village ,celler holes and such .I do believe it is on private land but i dont think it would be hard to get permission as it is out in the woods

Have you obtained permission yet ? I may be interested if still looking for someone. I got a pretty good idea where it is. North of Standgate on western side of MTN/Hill off rd that begins with an R ... ? We talking about the same place ?
