I just found this site by accident and after playing around with it a little bit I was able to find maps (both road and satellite) and exact locations of 2 towns within a few miles that don't exist anymore and I am sure there are several more. I thought I would share this if anyone needs to find new places to hunt. If you know the name of place but need to know where it was, this site is great. The 2 places I found are just fields now and I never would have found them without doing a lot of driving and legwork. Initially I googled post offices for my county and a couple popped up that I had never heard of, now I have to find owners and get permisson. I hope this helps out in your research,
