Re: goin to a ghost town that aint on the maps;)

well, we left around 12 am, thinking it would only be a 2/12 - 3 mile walk, just getting there was more than 8 miles one way, not on roads but terrain. sorry to say by the time we got there we were too exhausted to do anything, like i said we planned for a 3 mile hike, and we packed lite. just foundation was there, plus a few trash pits. i found some glass pieces that dates mid 1800's to late 1800's. and some whole ones from early 1900. so we didnt get to detect, maybe ill go back to this place since it is so hard to reach im sure not many people know of its location. on the way back we bumped into 2 rattle snakes within 10 min. also found a couple nice insulators, i kept them even tho im not a insulator person;)

Yep, that's good. Threadless, excessive amounts of bubble and unusual colors are good signs.

PLEASE return to the site next year and show us what you find there. This is one of those places that people like us always dream of finding. Take a .22 loaded with bird shot so you can shoot the snakes if necessary and ride an ATV. Be sure to take lots of burlap bags so you can load them with bottles and other goodies. I wanna go too!!!!! WAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
