My wife found this while we were metal detecting. Really small and shallow. I am thinking maybe a powder makeup container? Any thoughts? Possible era?

Hello rickbrk,

Those are 2 separate and unrelated milk glass items. I cannot see a screw thread on the cosmetic pot. Without the thread, it is roughly TOC. What does the base look like?

Pond's products were generally marked as such.

There are no markings anywhere on it, and no threads. After closer look i think you are right they don't belong together. There were found close together. Not together.
