This Belgian Paperweight was given to my Grandfather a Belgian artist he became friends with while stationed in Belgium during WWII. My Grandfather said he was a well known artist and I believe the letters are in some way related, possibly a son for family member but I don't read the language and my Grandfather is no longer alive to help tell me what letters go with the paperweight. My Grandfather told me that he had letters connected in some way to the paperweight so hopefully I have the correct letters. He also told me that the paperweight was unsigned because they were friends.

Can anyone assist me with the identification and/or translation? :dontknow:

I agree with Diggummup as to the piece being in the style of Val St. Lambert.
BTW, the Val St. Lambert Cristalleries of Belgium is still on operation.

Well the letters I posted originally were not the correct letters and I found the correct letters this morning. The letters I originally posted had such a great "lost and found" story I thought I would share it with you.
