Does anyone know the actual name and a supplier for the deep groove black matting that is used for sluices?

I'm also interested in finding out.
Meanwhile, here in Mongolia its not a problem, its on sale at the local market. Imported from Russia.
Thousands of people use black rubber mats to line their sluices and - believe it or not - use a rubber mat ON ITS OWN! You can see how this trick is done at:

By the way, there are 2 main types of ribbed rubber matting:
a) just with one set of ribs transversely.
b) two sets of ribs, transverse and logitudinal, that creates very useful 'pockets' to catch and keep the gold. This is the main type used in Mongolia.
Here's another trick - slit open an old truck or car tyre and unroll it. This can be a black rubber sluice!
