i have been all through there...very little color. some where out there there is gold..lol just so far not at lytle creek

Lytle Creek be empty eh? My Father and I were planning to visit there.. What about Kern River? Anything up there?

i find lots of fine gold in the kern river near bakersfield. every shovel has color in my spot.

Lytle can have up to 50m of overburden. I've hunted up there many times with both my Gold Bug and sluice. Found a nice picker once as well as some interesting, but unknown hot rocks with veins in them.

If you want to sluice go to the East Fork San Gabriel river first or Blue Cut El Cajon pass second.
