Upper Sacramento River

Anyone tried panning this river? Ive heard theres good fishing and at least some gold but i just can't find anymore info. Thanks

Since the cantara spill in 91 and 2 massive floods that washed the tracks out and into the river,it's been largely ignored. Rivers a ungodly mess now but highbar still produces. Every other section is SP(train) and much SP(sierra pacific) property too. Pepper in the private and it's a huge mishmash mess. Both SP cutting off access in many places too. Go to the FS on airport and get their land status maps to see where you can go and then assessor office to see who owns what. tons a au 2 u 2-John
