Where is a good place to pan for gold in Virginia

White's V3, Minelab Explorer II & XP Deus.
Primary Interest:
Prospecting
look for places where the river begins to slow down, or behind stones.(in the river, they can slow down the water/gold and then it might "hide" behind the rock)
large quartz amounts can also indicate gold.
