"BAD" "BAD" Mother nature
Wetest month of May in history where I live in Oregon. Woke up this morning June 2nd to all this bad turbidity. Hope the water goes down before dredge season in two weeks.

Hopefully the river will drop for you, when its potato-raking time. It looks like a great spot.
The gold is down there dig deeper. If that doesn't work dig deeper...

Ditto! Hey Caminochaos, Please help me out... with a name like Cieszki, it is not hard to figure out that I'm Polish. May I ask your ancestral lienage? I will guess Native Indian or Hispanic... no requirement to answer, I'm just always interested in such things. TTC

Camino is actually not my name but the name of the town I use to live in. But to answer you question I believe it's spanish and it means "pathway" or something like that.

Re: "BAD" "BAD" Mother nature
That would be the trask river. If your looking to get a permit for MDing the beach you don't need one as long as you stay off that part of the beach that is the state park. I don't believe they are issuing permits any more but last time I went to get one I was told I didn't need one and that was from the state office.
Good luck!

Hey jog.
Actually I am after a prospecting permit.
Finally today I found the right folks at the right agencies (I think).
Parks and Rec. hate State Lands Dept. and Fish & Game wants a say also.
All to pan beach sand.
Think I will try up the mountains this weekend. LOL

Re: "BAD" "BAD" Mother nature
Why would you need a permit to pan on the beach?

Re: "BAD" "BAD" Mother nature
According to this, we don't need permits from anyone for much of anything to do with Mining.
