JAXOM:
I'm afraid that it does NOT! solve anything!
I am working on a (15 filter) Micron Gold Filtering/recovery unit right now!
Mine does not use commercial filters !
But! Uses a special activied type of filter material.
I, will be testing in The Bradshaw Mnts, in a few weeks!
OH!
AND! YES!
It/they do work!
Heck!
You don't have to take anyone's word ...
EITHER! Yeas! or! Nay!
See it work for yourself ? :o
Then, you can make up your own mind..
Just contact me for time and place !
If there's any "Doubting Thomas's" out there ?
Pack Up &
Come on out/along !

If you're looking for something that will pull mosquito turd size pieces out of your black sand, try www.cleangold.com not truly micron, but darn close. 30 microns on up.

Thanks!
But!
I'm after the 5-1 micron stuff!
Although, I do know of this area in New Mexico,
Where there is a large area of Black sand, several inches thick!
AND!
I mean! Several inches !
In places, there are layers around 4-6 inches!
A friend of mine, just drive a coffee can in to it and in one motion got a 1lb can full !
I don't know, because I never assayed or checked to see,
If! there's any GOLD in it!
Because of it's location, I didn't think that there would be any Gold in it!
Just a hand full of small peaks in the desert!
But!
I have recently learned, that a old sheep or goat, herder, used to get flour gold out of a dry creek & the area around his camp!
Because it was flour gold, lots of HARD work and need lots of water, no one has ever done any mining there!
If this system, that you mention, is an improvement over the "drywasher" & washing methods...
I, really, need to stop by, on this trip, and sample this site, to see if there's any gold in it!
Thanks, I'll check out your "Website" !!

It may take time , but saving your black sands after you pan them out and taking the time to process them will get you more gold than you get in flakes or nugs in your pan about everytime! I mean save all of it and process it over the winter and you will ,almost without doubt, have more weight in flower gold than you got any other kind...

How do you process your black sand? I have a little I'd like to see if there's any gold in it.

The easist way to SEE if there is flour gold in your black sand is to put about a teaspoon of very dry black sand on a good sized piece of black contruction paper and blow on it very VERY gently. It should seperate fairly easily. Enough for you to see that it will show the shiney gold against the black background, and it can also be seperated this way as well.......Takes time, but it works.
