Many thanks! Your kindness in sharing this will give me many hours of enjoyable reading and learning during our big winter rainy season! I just now read the book about famous nuggets whose author wrote so well that it feels like going with the prospectors & miners who made huge nugget discoveries before 1900. All best to you! Andi

I started out being hooked on the geology and the rocks & minerals handbooks and then started reading about the adventures of the 49'ers. Now I'm finding the adventures and the history during the gold rush to be very fascinating plus I like the old style of writing and I plan on reading them all!

Thanks GoodyGuy!

There are a lot of references and links for where I live, most of those BC references are a days drive or less, the Yukon not much farther.

Cheers

GG Thanks for posting these. Read quite a bit of the Charles Volney Averill book. Best thing I got out of it is this, it is not whether the stream has enough force to deposit gold somewhere along it but does the stream have enough force to remove it from that spot and send it to a new place. I will be looking at all water courses differently now.

Thanks Much

GM
