Ground Penetrating Radar to find gold ore deposits?

Im trying to find an alternative to core drilling in placier and bed rock. Is ground penetrating radar a good method? I want to try to get a depth of around 50 feet.

That would give you some information. But you cant get a mineral sample with a radar.

Side scan colormetrically enhanced sonar is a good way to go. The great 16-1 mine in Grass Valley used it for years and much oro puro. There was a tv special about 6 years ago or so and technology has been upgraded much BUT much $$$$$$ and shamen abound in the guise of legal business so CAVEAT EMPTOR--beware of shams,scams and flim flams same as long range locators(of your wallet)---John
