ive heard people doing this and was going todo one of my pans to see how it works on really fine stuff. but all that material would need to be screened and use it only as a cleanup pan,otherwise i dont see any advantage to it.

For a few times the cost of a can of spray paint, I think I'd go with a Garrett 'Backpacker' or 'SuperSluice' pan, you really can't go wrong with them.
