The proposed Project includes the dredging of the delta fan area of upper Combie
Reservoir, the removal and separation of mercury from the dredged material, and the
transport of marketable by‐products to off‐site locations.

The Project will be conducted
over a three‐year period and will extract approximately 150,000 to 200,000 tons of
sediments that have been deposited in upper Combie Reservoir. If this Project proves
successful, NID will perform regular maintenance dredging of Combie Reservoir

So in other words dredgers aren't allowed to dredge mercury out of the waters but they can and they can also take all the gold found with it and sell it for profit. I would bet this is what they were planning all along. Take the money out of the hands of the public and put it in the hands of big corporation. Sickening!

So, the State will be dredging, under the pretext of removing mercury, but will be profiting from "marketable" materials(gold, that is) that are found. This, while private persons won't be able to dredge. The state takes what rightfully belongs to the citizens--expected as much from Governor Moonbeam, and just another example of "hopeless change."

Dammmm them all. :BangHead:
Any of you that go to the polls and vote for a liberal of any type, a democrat or a rino, you are getting what you deserve. Unfortunatly, we too are having our rights taken away, due to the actions of so many that are allowed to vote, while walking around with dead brain cells. >:(
Nuff Said.

Its a double negitive for the State of California
SB670 removes revenue for the State in the tune of millions
SWRCB will add more burden to the taxpayer in the tune of millons
