Hi Jeff of pa,
I watched the whole series and it was pretty good. Not a lot of tv producer made drama. Pretty much shows the struggles of mining and how it is done.

same here watched it all. only drama I could have done without was the old guy complaining about his 15% (10%) it made him look pretty senile , & look where it got him. I sort of wondered if that was manufactured drama. was definitely better watching the whole series in a row, compared to watching it for 5 weeks

I think the old guy was a manufactured drama/comic relief. My favorite parts was the family that almost lost it all and then because of teamwork, tenacity, and hard work from family and employees they came out the big winners with $4.5 mil. The eye candy was ok and I liked their old mans philosiphy of prospect before you dig and the different methods he employed. Kind of like Tony Beets on Gold Rush drill before you dig.
