Well, being female, I think she either hid it in the kitchen or else where she did the wash. If she canned food, check cellar or shed also. HH Andi

My great aunt helen stashed money in books and when she passed we collected around 52 thousand dollars in 50 and 100's we thought maybe she was conterfitting them but some dated back into the 40's and 50's she just hoarded all the money she made was all I guess 50 and 100's was easiest to save, HH on the gold it will show up one day.

I set a vial with several grams in the compartment between the front seats of my SUV. The vial was filled with water and it froze, cracked and the gold fell to the bottom of the compartment. I dropped it off at the auto detail shop and remembered later so I looked and there was one small piece was left, all the rest was vaccumed up.

Took my little bit O'Gold to my clubs show and tell. On the way to the car after the meeting I dropped the box with the gold vial in it. Vial broke box popped open. Lost a portion of my hard won treasure. Never fear I will find more.

Was getting ready to photograph some gold in a gold pan to post on T-Net after a recent prospecting trip to North Carolina and I was holding a flashlight in my mouth while using my hands to hold the camera steady.

The flashlight fell out of my mouth flipping the pan off the desk and gold flew all over the room. Recovered a lot of it but I learned a good lesson ...........hopefully :tongue3:

GG~
