hitting the wall was right---as boring as paint drying on the wall......never saw such a dangerous place as impossible to mine and absolutely NO economic viability. No,not, never for this miner-John

That's why Erik the Red gave up on Greenland many centuries ago! No gold, no nuthin! Not even a few chubby Eskimo women! And it caused the Vikings to fight amongst each other, then go check out Massachusetts and party hearty.

Question: Was Erik the Red the first communist?

Considering they only have just over 2 months to mine/prospect. They need to get it together and get busy doing....anything. i don't see an success unless they give up now. Go back and regroup with people who actually know what to do.
In my opinion...they have the wrong guys doing the wrong things. Get a guy like me and the drama would end and there would be a real mining operation happening instead of this hopeless wandering I keep seeing. Only pros, determination, aggressive tactics, and proper equipment will ever get the job done.
I'm pretty much done watching it and can only wait for my chance at having an opportunity like they are squandering.

So Beck, what would you mine, gold? Gems? Nickle? Is there a market for epidote?
It isn't Gold Rush where they [we] pay someone for a claim they've already drilled-tested-sampled.
It isn't bearing sea gold, the fjords are 700 meters deep!

The way things were laid out, we had two months to research what we could, then 7-8 weeks to attempt to locate something of value.
When I went to Alaska I took a full year to research & prepare.
There are two episodes left. Watch them... don't watch them, the world won't end either way.
What you see is but a fraction of what took place. Six episodes X 42 minutes, in no way covers all of 50+ days. Just something to think about...

And believe me, we all have our expertise, though the show doesn't project that completely.
    Have a great day!

    Finding GOLD
I believe Hoser has some friends who are being courted for some type of gold show, but I doubt he could ever put up with a bunch of Hollywood types getting in the way of his mining... But it would be colorful and possibly fatal for some of those namby pamby's.

Just the scenery makes it a much watch for me. Fantastic on a fine tuned 48 inch HD TV. I'd like to see them find something, but finding gold or catching a boat load of fish is not all that is to getting out there.

My wife has been to that closest town. Has pictures from several different Greenland towns but can't figure out which is which. Believe me, they all look alike. Thanks for the show fellows. It's been well worth the time spent watching it.

I would be interested in an explorationto Greenland. If this team is only exploring the outskirts of the island. I can only imagine the billions and billions that are under the ice.
Maybe after the greenhouse effects have taken their toll on the island in the next 10 years. We have to believe there are vast amounts of riches of many kinds just sitting there waiting to make explorers, miners, and prospectors alike. I want to be one of them.

What I don't understand, is why they are so timid about going anywhere or why they don't have hard hats. Or better yet...why weren't they looking at the ground where the glacier passes through. The glacier had to have torn enough material from the cliffs and left it on the ground.

    Too many questions
