Isn't small wing span and 16+ feet an oxymoron? Who gets to ride while the other flies you? LOL

Oxymoron? You mean like JUMBO shrimp? :icon_scratch: Military inteligence? ???

Compared to some models I've seen built and flown 16 ft is only medium sized. As to the pilot, I'll be doing the flying but I just might send the Munchkin up as ballast on windy days. ;) Of course Robi might have something to say about that. I can hear it now... YOU DID WHAT?!?!?!

Oakview that spot is on private property the owner is around 15 years older than me and had a heartattack about two months after I got all jazzed on that spot.He is digging a lot less these days. Laserpointerforums, adafruit, DIYMA, DIYaudio, LegacyGT, edaboard, helifreak ...the list goes on

I don't think I should mention my other forums:icon_thumleft:

I enjoy manipulating technology to cause chaos. It's amusing as hell.

I have had many hobbies over the years. In the years between 20 and 30 years old I raced Blown Top Fuel Hydros and raced Off-Road in the Score Internaional Series, Baja 1000 etc. Hunting has been my passion but gave that up after back surgery and knee replacement surgery. I took up playing Texas Hold'Em and will be seated at a table in Vegas this July at the World Series Of Poker. So this brings me to by other hobby. I build custom poker tables.

I think we just got punked!:laughing7:

I don't think so... These are not toys but scaled aircraft with real jet engines that cost 10s to 100s of thousands of dollars.

The Jetman uses the same Jetcat Jet engines. The ultimate hobby... :icon_thumright::icon_thumright::icon_thumright:

He'd be disqualified right away for use of an engine. ;) This is for SAILPLANES... no motors allowed! FOr those of you that don't know... Sailplanes are the easiest of the R/C planes to fly... BUT the hardest to be really good at. you don't have a motor to pull/push you through the sky.

Must be rough trying to find treasure w/out a detector:thumbsup:

I still rock a dumb phone, & to be honest, I wouldn't need it if I didn't have to commute 60 miles to class each day.

CEH? I bet we know each other... You might even know two of me
