Was flippin through the channels last night and caught the last ten minutes of a show called Yukon Gold. I don't remember even hearing about it. The bit I saw was leaps and bounds better than Gold Rush, Jungle Gold, and that other walking around in Greenland or Iceland show don't recall the name....The guys I saw were seasoned Miners running their sites well, and recovering good color the one guy had 132 oz after he went and had his cons cleaned by what they called a " Goldwasher" who is a fella set up it seems with a Biz to recover your fines for you rather than you doing on your own and buying the expensive gear for it. I only know of a " Gravelwasher" never heard of a "Goldwasher"....Kinda want to change my Handle now...:laughing7: Mods can I do that?.....anyways if you guys havn't seen the show you might want to check it out it seems to be pretty realistic I will try to catch it again. It is produce in Canada and by Canadians so maybe that is why it doesn't have the fake Hollywood feel to it.:dontknow:

I didn't know what to think. No militia's, no nighttime gunfire outside a tent, no stupid mistakes, you mean that doesn't happen all the time?

Sounds to me some of these shows are a touch out of touch with reality. A Canadian show should be closer to reality especially Canadian reality where most of the time firearms are not allowed. The Mounties I've met have always been pleasant, except at border crossings and there they just are very serious and just cause goose bumps up my spine. But I digress, as my experiences in the 'gold fields' of Communist California have been quite pleasant and low key save when a bear enters camp. Bears in camp regardless of the state or country one is in will certainly liven things up! Watching about good gold being found under low chaos situations where folks treat each other with respect and common sense sounds like a good show to watch. Watch on........................63bkpkr

What the frick? A real mining show with real miners and no hard hat thumpin drama! Gold Rush needs to make some big changes or their gonna suffer the same fate as Jungle Gold (hopefully it won't be back). 135 oz. clean out- can you say SHAWING!

Yep jungle gold is a real joke all that equipment and this season not one speck of gold, with this season and last they could have found more gold in Indiana here and that's really bad since we only have glacial gold here. Oh wait they did find a little on some test holes but still could have come out with more here with the time they spent, I could have got more than them with my keene A51 power sluice setup and shovels.

Well, last night seemed to be a whole lot about some young girl installing water pipe.

Or did I miss something.
