I plan on getting a Dewalt Dc500 for sucking up material on dry bedrock

its small, portable, works on wet and dry surfaces, and can be battery operated.

Is this legal on Clear Creek, Near Redding?

I mainly gonna use it for Crevicing in bedrock its also capable of being used as a tiny underwater suction device.

There's no motors aloud on clear creek, I'm not sure about the battery operated though :/ call up blm

I was just at one of my claims last week over in eastern Or, this claim is old hydrauliced river channel 200' above the river ( no water )and most of the gold is on bedrock. I have been considering getting a large shop vack and running it off my generator and doing exactly what you have done here but on a larger scale. The material would be taken down to the water and run through my trommel. I don't know if it's legal for where you are asking but I think it's a great idea.

My buddy has this DeWalt. Vac and compared to my gas power vac's I build its like comparing a Pinto to a Ferrari. Just does not have much suction power. Here is a gas vac on steroids. I do understand your problem using gas powered.

Are you sure that it's the creek that doesn't allow it?
