IDEAS FOR READING MATERIAL.

i am gonna have some down time due to the weather in my area and i am planing on doing a lot of studying of minerals and geology during that down time so i can be really prepared for prospecting come next summer. so i need information on the best books to pick up about minerals and geology that i can get at a library or on amazon ore even a good website. thanks

I've heard/read that some of Chris Ralphs tomes are chock full of info. Steve Herschbach's site has some good reading. TerryC has a great Library so hopefully he will add a post here. And yes, California is heading into the time when Ma Nature closes down the high country though I'm hoping that will not be for several more weeks yet. I'd like a chance for another three or four trips........................63bkpkr
