I did a test once to see how much material a gold sucker would suck up per stroke, depending on the nozzle size. This is actual material at the creek, after loosening up with my digging bar. Here are some pictures.
A 2 inch gold sucker with a 1/2 inch nozzle.

""""""""""''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''' 3/4 inch nozzle.

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""" 1 inch nozzle.

2 inch gold sucker with 2 inch nozzle.

3 inch gold sucker with 3 inch nozzle

10 strokes of a 3 inch after classifying to 1/2 inch classifier.

Looks like the 2 & 3 inch take in a lot. It's nice to have all different sizes though for sucking out crevices. Looks like you have a big selection there! I need to make some different attachments for mine. Maybe I'll try doing a 2".

The smaller nozzles come in real handy on a 2 inch for cleaning out cracks and crevices. I tried smaller nozzles on a 3 inch, but it was just so hard to draw the handle back because the intake is so reduced.
