if you bring your vile with you out into the feild,id double bag it in a ziplock sandwich bag incase it gets banged up against something and breaks.then you wont lose your hard earned gold! and mark your bag/vile with your name so if you would lose it, a honest person with charactor would return it to you!

I wouldn't risk loosing or breaking it myself as I always just keep my cons to pan at home, I would rather run as much material as I can and worry about getting the gold out later. I really prefer the plastic vials anyway as I'm usually panning on the concrete back porch and I use a small 10" finishing pan to sit my vial in when putting the gold in it, that way if it gets knocked over its still in the pan.

Welcome to Tnet

If it is not a plastic vial then you will be lucky if it does not break. Better than luck is going prospecting as often as possible and doing random acts of kindness..........................63bkpkr
